ETS-RT 08 B is a UHF based high performance reusable sports tag that is attached to the bib of the participant. It can be worn using a lanyard or attach to the T-shirt using a safety pin. The tag is uniquely designed using the best in class Smartrac Dogbone inlay considering the requirement of high accuracy and reliability in applications related to marathon and race events. Built on UHF 865 – 928 MHZ frequency the tag is fully compliant with ISO/IEC 18000 6C standard protocols. The chip used in the tag has a high anti-collision feature i.e. multiple tags can be recorded simultaneously in a fraction of second at fast moving speed. These tags are used in combination with RFID readers which records the exact time and associated information related to the participant in real time basis. These records can be published online as well as to generate reports and certificates for an event. Each tag has a unique RFID chip number printed on it which enables the event organizers to quickly issue and return the tags to the participants. These tags can also be used for tracking movement and attendance of participants in conference, event sand exhibitions .
